Chinese New Year
Don’t be late to the party like the zodiac pig for our Chinese New Year celebrations on Friday, February 8.
We are hosting a eight-course banquet created especially for this festive event, which celebrates the start of the new year on the Chinese calendar. The Pig is the 12th and last zodiac on the calendar and according to myth, gained that place because he overslept and arrived late to a party hosted by the Jade Emperor in which the order of the zodiac was determined.
Those born in the year of the Pig are known to be bright and enthusiastic, and will see great fortune in their lifetime – and these traits are set for us all to enjoy over this fun evening and into the year!
The banquet is $98 per person and all guests will receive a glass of wine or beer on arrival. Bookings can be made between 5:30pm and 8pm, please select your preferred date and time and our staff will be in touch to confirm.
ABOUT THE MENU
Each year Embassy XO Head Chef James Wu creates a Chinese New Year banquet inspired by the traditional dishes of his childhood, as well as the fresh produce from the Noosa region. Each course brings together these two elements to produce an exciting menu and we know you will love what we have planned.
